💕Youth Braider Foundations Program💕
8 Weeks | 48 Hours | After-School Training
The Youth Braider Foundations Program is an 8-week, after-school training experience designed for teens and young adults who want to build hands-on braiding and loc skills in a structured, professional environment.
This program is a shortened, skill-focused version of our full academy training and is ideal for students seeking foundational experience without the commitment of a 100-hour program.

14–20 years old
Training materials, mannequins, and products are provided during class. Personal kits are not required.
Students may purchase a mannequin head for at-home practice if desired.

Days: Monday & Tuesday Time: 4:30 PM – 7:30 PM Total Instruction: 48 hours over 8 weeks
Training may be delivered as private one-on-one instruction or small-group sessions, based on enrollment.

📜 Program Completion
Students who complete the program will receive:
Certificate of Completion Guidance and application support for the Missouri State Board Hair Braiders License

At the Fabulous Starrs Youth & Beauty Academy, each student progresses at their own pace. Advancement to new techniques is based on understanding and skill development, ensuring every student builds confidence and a strong foundation before moving forward.
